Kongskilde North America
1960 – Established a location in Exeter, Ontario, Canada for North America – selling soil products, mainly cultivators.
1978 – Started to sell Grain blowers primarily in Western Canada – was the origination of the Grain Vac.
1987 – Started sales of equipment for the Plastic and Paper Industries.
2002 – Grain and Industrial are combined and re-located to Bloomington, Illinois and operated as Kongskilde Industries Inc, whilst Soil equipment sales remain in Canada and operated as Kongskilde Limited.
2003 – Soil equipment production is stopped and property is sold. Kongskilde Limited is moved to Strathroy, Ontario and production is outsourced to one primary (frames) and 3 secondary suppliers.
2010 – January the owner of our primary supplier in Canada was killed and his Company was shut down in May.
2010 – Progressive Farm Products is up for sale.
June 2010 – It is decided to purchase Progressive Farm Products and consolidate all Kongskilde North American operations into one site to be located at the Progressive site. In order to do so an extra warehouse was added and the manufacturing portion re-configured with more welding and assembly stations. IT network is also installed throughout the facility.
October 2010 – the first Kongskilde manufactured machine leaves the facility.
February 2011 – first shipment of Kongskilde (Progressive) machines leave for South Africa.
