Kongskilde introduces ground-breaking solution for efficient and hygienic transport of plastic parts. The target group is the food, pharmaceutical and plastic industries.
Component Vacuum Loader (CVL) is a breakthrough for the efficient and hygienic transport of plastic components in the production of food, beverage and pharmaceutical products in particular.
CVL is an air-based system that streamlines the internal transportation of plastic items for storage or packaging processes. The handling is performed without the touch of human hands and without major investments in internal transportation systems. According to Kongskilde, the solution opens up an en-tirely new market.
Hygienic and gentle transport
The CVL system moves capsules, lids or plastic parts. The process occurs pneumatically, directly from the warehouse to the filling with beverages, food, etc. or to packaging lines in clean rooms with pharmaceutical products. This solution means that you avoid the plastic parts being touched by human hands, and it ensures optimum hygiene. It automates the distribution of plastic components for filling and packaging lines and provides the most effective uptime.
The solution behind the system is a highly efficient Multi-air blower which, connected to a specially designed vacuum unit, collects the plastic components and transports them in a tube. The CVL unit then separates the air and the components, which are gently delivered to the final destination in boxes, on a packing table, in a silo or to a packing line.

The CVL system is also suitable for the plastics industry, because it moves items in batches from the plastic moulding machines to the desired location within the company, such as a packing table or storage.
Transport in the CVL system occurs with negative pressure via a flexible tube system. The system is particularly suitable for plastic lids, caps for syringes etc.
It has a very large range, and tests have shown that the CVL system can easily transport components over 50 metres.
The flexible tube allows a high degree of freedom, and the system operates independently of bends and height differences between the production site and the final destination. At the same time, the system saves floor space compared to a rubber conveyor belt, and it is also easy to change the destination.
Production in clean rooms
Thanks to the principle of negative pressure, the CVL system is very suitable for production in clean rooms. Absolutely no air is sucked into the room, which helps to ensure 100% hygiene. It may be plastic parts to be transported from the warehouse to the packing line, and which are used in the packaging of pharmaceutical or medical products.
CVL is based on a major development project and very satisfactory test results at a large American manufacturer of plastic caps for the beverage industry.
